Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant 1 position with the Department of Conservation & Natural Resources supports park operations at Pymatuning State Park. The role helps keep daily activities running smoothly while interacting with staff and visitors.
Responsibilities- Administrative Support:
Handle clerical tasks that keep office operations organized. - Public Interaction:
Assist visitors and callers by providing information and directing inquiries. - Fiscal Processing:
Manage purchasing documents, monitor expenditures, and maintain financial records. - Record Management:
Maintain files, prepare correspondence, and ensure documents are accurate. - Operational Coordination:
Support park staff by tracking schedules, equipment use, and office resources. - Data Entry:
Update computer systems with information related to permits, reports, and park activities.
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday‑Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch.

- Graduation from a four‑year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Must meet the PA residency requirement.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
