This position supports document preparation, scanning, and records handling for the Business Management Division within the Southcentral Regional Office. Through your work, you will help maintain accurate and well-organized digital files that support the agency’s daily operations. As a Clerical Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Document Preparation:
Organize files for scanning by removing bindings and arranging pages in proper order - Scanning Operation:
Use high-speed and large format scanners to convert paper documents into digital files - Accuracy Review:
Verify scanned documents for completeness and accuracy before submitting them for workflow review - Data Entry:
Enter information into electronic systems while following required data quality standards - Call Screening:
Route incoming calls to the correct staff members and take messages as needed - Work Area Maintenance:
Maintain an organized work area and operate office equipment used for records management
- Limited term, full-time employment for approximately 6 months.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

No option to telework in this position. - Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly wage of $17.38 (before taxes). - Further communication regarding this position will be provided via email.
