Clerk II

To ensure that documents are properly prepared for scanning and to organize charts in date order to scan.

• Chart retrieval
• Maintain death log
• Front desk duties
• Loose reports
• Indexing
• Data entry
• Fetal strip
• Answer fax requests

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous clerical experience required.
• Health Information Management preferred.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
• Knowledge and experience with software applications, specifically Microsoft Windows.

• Sitting for long periods
• Standing, walking, bending, reaching
• Use of a step stool
• Ability to carry arm loads of charts and push carts loaded with records
• Good hand and arm dexterity for using the computer keyboard and mouse

Office setting.
