An established and highly respected pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing Organisation with a strong reputation supporting global pharma and biotech clients across complex API processing and technical service solutions, is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development professional to support a major phase of international growth.

With over four decades of technical expertise and a strong reputation for quality, regulatory excellence, and customer partnership, the organisation has successfully expanded its operations into the United States and is investing heavily in the future. Backed by a substantial pipeline of secured business and an extensive network of warm industry relationships, this represents a rare opportunity to join a business with genuine momentum and long-term vision.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead commercial growth initiatives across North America, building long-term partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech Organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotech and related life sciences sectors.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients and strategic partners.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract opportunities.
  • Support the ongoing growth and expansion of the organisation's US presence.
YOU
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or commercial leadership within the pharmaceutical, CDMO, CMO, API, Drug Substance, excipient, pharmaceutical services, or related life sciences sectors.
  • Experience building relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech customers and existing network.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build, grow, and create long-term value.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth environment and contributing to strategic business decisions.
  • Ideally located on the US East Coast.
