Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support sourcing activities including RFQ preparation and vendor communication, to include organize supplier response, populate comparison matrices, and prepare award recommendations.
• Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.
• Conduct basic market research, spend analytics and supplier benchmarking to inform category decisions.
• Request and coordinate the creation of purchase orders with purchasing team.
• Track supplier performance metrics.
• Assist in sourcing initiatives analysis and reporting.
• Assist with supplier performance monitoring and documentation.
• Learn and apply Victaulic’s sourcing policies, supplier code of conduct, and contract administration standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
