This role is hybrid within the US (Remote or based in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco) depending on team and business needs.

Real Chemistry is looking for an Associate Director, Medical Strategy to join our growing team. Our Associate Directors guide project direction within accounts and collaborate with scientific and medical experts to elevate medical content, lead teams, and maintain strong client relationships. You may specialize in content development, team leadership, and/or strategic thinking.

• Therapy area and scientific expertise:
  Guide teams, contribute through others, and co-create high-quality medical content across multiple therapy areas to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Strategic thinking:
  Provide strategic input into account planning and engage with clients to understand their thinking, offering alternative perspectives.
• Client relationships:
  Act as a trusted advisor for clients with support from senior team members.
• Managing and advising:
  Lead teams to work competently and efficiently to deliver high-quality work in high-pressure situations; oversee delegation of work across accounts.
• Business development:
  Identify opportunities for organic growth by understanding client interests and cross-functional stakeholders; collaborate with key contacts to leverage opportunities.
• Strategic leadership:
  Lead, shape, and execute strategy for accounts with medical writing and client service teams, building on Medical Strategist skills; develop peer-to-peer relationships with key clients.
• Involvement in strategy process:
  Contribute to research, analysis, insight development, and creative brief development.
• Critical thinking:
  Identify and build product and portfolio strategies; facilitate internal and client meetings/workshops.

• Experience in medical education or a related field, including roles that involved management of medical writers and/or strategists.
• Proven ability to interact directly with clients.
• Strong understanding of healthcare, science, medicine, and the pharmaceutical industry.
• High level of academic achievement.
• Personable, articulate, and capable of nurturing relationships with persuasive presentation skills.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $135,000. Compensation is based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal parity. Real Chemistry offers a comprehensive benefits package and programs to support well-being, growth, and success.
