IN OFFICE POSITION.Dubois Continuum of Care Community is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable-Medicaid Specialist to join our finance team in DuBois, Pennsylvania. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable and Medicaid applications and renewals to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. About the Role:- Processing and tracking Medicaid applications, Renewals and related documentation
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable and Medicaid renewals
- Analyzing and resolving billing discrepancies and denials
- Collaborating with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless coordination of services
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Process and track Medicaid applications, renewals, and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies and denials, and negotiate with payers when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable and Medicaid claims
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless coordination of services and billing
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers

- 1 year of experience or more in accounts receivable, Medicaid applications, renewals, or a related field (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems (EHRs)
