Traveling Project Manager - Multi-family

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Project Manager to lead the construction of a large scale, ground up multifamily master plan community in Reading, PA. This role is ideal for a hands on construction professional who thrives in fast paced environments, enjoys traveling to job sites, and takes pride in delivering high quality residential communities. The job is about a two year project and the next project will be in a different city and state.

You will be primarily on site every day.

You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and successful execution of multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of ground up multifamily construction projects
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams
• Oversee contract administration, change management, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements
• Communicate effectively with ownership, design teams, and field leadership
• Provide on-site leadership through regular travel to active job sites
• Drive project milestones to achieve on-time, on budget delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in multifamily construction
• Proven experience managing ground up multifamily projects
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively for project assignments
• Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
