Who are you?You’re a customer-focused professional with a passion for building relationships and helping people achieve their financial goals. As a Personal Banker, you’ll be the go-to partner for clients—opening accounts, assisting with loans, and connecting customers to the right products and services. You’ll play a key role in enhancing customer retention, supporting business development, and ensuring every client interaction reflects C&N’s commitment to service excellence.
You’re detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where multitasking is key. If you’re ready to combine customer service expertise with financial knowledge, this role may be the perfect fit.
Responsibilities- Strengthening relationships and business development
: opening personal and business accounts, enrolling clients in digital banking tools, and ensuring a positive onboarding experience. - Identifying customer needs
: through conversations, offering tailored product recommendations, and referring clients to specialists when appropriate. - Supporting lending functions
: analyzing customer needs, originating consumer loans or home equity applications, and ensuring compliant loan documentation. - Performing teller and branch operations
: as needed, including handling deposits, withdrawals, wires, and debit card issuance. - Maintaining a well‑rounded knowledge
: of C&N’s full product suite, including deposit, loan, and digital banking solutions. - Promoting community engagement
: by supporting local business development efforts and representing C&N in the community. - Ensuring compliance
: with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in all customer interactions.
Education & Experience
:
You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND 2–4 years previous related experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a banking environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Recommended Certifications
: NMLS (within 1 year of employment)

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
- Solid technical skills, including comfort with banking systems and digital tools
