Dental Assistant Instructor

Overview

Join our team as a part‑time Dental Assistant instructor, where you will inspire and prepare students for a successful career in dental assisting. The position is expected to begin in Fall 2026 (September 1, 2026).

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons covering essential topics, including History of Dentistry, Dental Assisting Roles & Responsibilities, Legal Aspects of Dentistry, Oral Anatomy, Dental Equipment, and Radiography.
• Prepare students for the Dental Assisting National Board Radiation Health and Safety exam.
• Develop and administer course assessments, evaluate student progress, and maintain attendance and progress reports.
• Attend information sessions and recruiting events as needed.

$50 per hour.

• Experience in the field of Dental Assisting.
• Dental Assisting National Board Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification.
• Previous teaching experience highly desired.

• Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification.
• Knowledge of Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Employment will require successful completion of background checks in accordance with College policies.
