Qualifications

• An active Special Education PreK-12 or Special Education PreK-8 Pennsylvania Teaching Certification is required
• Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary aged children and good communication skills
• Must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum
  
  In addition to being qualified and knowledgeable in the specific area of certification required, we are seeking individuals trained in:

Job description

A special education teaching position, focusing on providing learning support instruction to 5th and 6th grade students, at West Reading Elementary Center is available for the  academic year. Prior experience as a special education teacher is preferred. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary aged children and good communication skills.
