Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students.

Program

Hours:

Monday‑Friday 6:45 am‑9:00 am and 3:30 pm‑6:00 pm

Pay Rate: $15.00‑$18.00 (based on education and experience)

Bonuses: Earn up to $1,250 in bonuses within the first 90 days based on completing certain new‑hire milestones.

• Daily program meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities: prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with program objectives and are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Lead by example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize safety and joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, and follow safety protocols; include documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR (in‑person).
• Clear tuberculosis test.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma/GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience with children aged 5‑13 in a formal childcare setting.
• College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or a related field preferred.
• CDA preferred.
• Additional educational credits criteria as listed.
