Our client is seeking Middle and High School Certified Special Education Teacher (ESY) - Malvern, PA. The opportunity is from Monday to Thursday.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education.
- Create, update, and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring goals align with academic standards and student needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress to adjust instructional strategies.
- Modify and differentiate lesson plans and activities to meet the needs of students with diverse learning abilities, using various instructional strategies.
- Work closely with general education teachers to integrate special education students into mainstream classrooms and provide support in inclusive settings.
- Use effective behavioral management techniques to support students with emotional and behavioral challenges and promote a positive learning environment.
- Regularly assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods as needed to ensure student success in meeting educational goals.
