Muhlenberg High School has a vacancy for a Co-Ed Cross Country Head Coach. The position begins in the Fall 2026 season, with off‑season training potentially starting once the Board approves.

Successful candidates should believe in the importance of extracurricular activities in a child’s K‑12 experience and overall social, emotional, and academic development.

• Prior coaching experience in scholastic distance running
• Bilingual candidates

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge and experience in the sport
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to give clear direction
• Ability to supervise and direct others
• Must be interested in supporting and working with all student‑athletes
• Knowledge of PIAA rules and policies governing the sport
• Ability to work within the Blueprint/Action Plan of the Muhlenberg School District
• Clearly communicate to student athletes, parents, school officials, and sport officials

Interested applicants must have current clearances, Acts 34, 114, 151 and 168.

The successful candidate will be required to participate in all training as required by PIAA.
