Permanent Substitute School Counselor – High School – First Semester ()
The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Permanent Substitute School Counselor at Mt. Lebanon High School for the First Semester of the School Year. This is a full-time, on-site, single semester, temporary (substitute) assignment from August 12, 2026 through January 14, 2027, a 99-day assignment. A permanent substitute assignment is a long-term substitute assignment of a full semester or more.
Key qualifications:
- Active Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department in School Counseling inclusive of grades 9-12.
- Pending certifications may be considered with a college/university placeholder letter and evidence of passing certification examinations.
The position is eligible for a degree level daily rate for step 1 of the teacher salary schedule, starting at $297 per day depending upon credential. The position is also eligible for paid time off in the form of sick and personal days and individual health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
