Lead Teacher

Kinder Care is seeking a Lead Teacher for Cornwall Terrace Elementary to guide engaging, developmentally appropriate learning for young students. In this role, you will design and deliver standards-aligned lessons, create a safe and nurturing classroom, and support the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child. You will regularly assess progress, adapt instruction for diverse learners, and communicate closely with families.

Working within Kinder Care's collaborative, inclusive culture, you'll mentor support staff, contribute to program development, and grow your career in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned lessons for elementary students
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Communicate regularly with families about student growth and classroom activities
• Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom support staff
• Implement classroom management strategies that support positive behavior
• Collaborate with school and Kinder
• Care staff on curriculum and program improvements
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and state regulations and safety policies
• Integrate play-based and hands-on learning to support social-emotional development
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training to enhance instructional practice
