CoreResponsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive electrical designs, including power distribution, interior/exterior lighting, and advanced lighting controls.
- Engineer integrated low-voltage solutions, encompassing fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and telecommunications.
- Execute rigorous load analysis, short circuit studies, voltage drop calculations, and equipment sizing to ensure peak system performance.
- Navigate projects from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring all technical documentation and specifications meet the highest industry standards.
- Serve as a technical liaison between architects, clients, and internal mechanical/plumbing teams to deliver unified, high-performance building solutions.
- Interpret and apply complex building codes and standards to ensure all designs are fully compliant and functionally superior.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce high-fidelity models and construction documents, driving innovation in digital project delivery.
- Share expertise and guide the development of junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSAE).
- 3+ years of professional electrical design experience specifically within the building systems/MEP sector.
- Expert command of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to design power, lighting, and fire alarm systems for diverse building types.
- Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Professional proficiency in Revit.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple complex project timelines simultaneously.
