Constellation Energy seeks an Electrical / I&C Engineer to support safe, reliable operation of utility-scale energy facilities. In this role, you will design, analyze, and maintain electrical and instrumentation & control systems for generation and related assets. Responsibilities include developing engineering calculations and drawings, configuring and troubleshooting control systems, supporting protective relaying and power distribution, and ensuring compliance with NERC, IEEE, NEC and company standards.
You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams, support root-cause analyses, lead system upgrades, and contribute to reliability, safety, and sustainability initiatives across the fleet.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and maintain electrical and I&C systems for generation and related assets
- Develop engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot control systems and related hardware/software
- Support protective relaying, power distribution, and equipment upgrades
- Ensure compliance with NERC, IEEE, NEC, and internal engineering standards
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams on reliability initiatives
- Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action development for system issues
- Support capital projects from scope development through commissioning and turnover
- Contribute to safety, reliability, and sustainability improvements across the fleet
- Prepare technical reports, procedures, and documentation for regulatory and internal use
