Education & Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old prior to being hired for this position. Must obtain an Ellis & Associates Healthcare Provider BLS certification, which includes CPR, First Aid, and AED training (provided by Del Grosso’s Park). Must adhere to Ellis & Associates Healthcare Provider BLS training standards and scope of practice for patient care. Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs.

Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, keeping accurate incident and injury documentation. Must be able to operate the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system for transactions within the First Aid facility. Must always maintain a well-groomed appearance.

Starting rate of pay is $12.50 an hour.

Essential Functions
  • Administer first aid treatment at the site of an emergency.
  • Adhere to Ellis & Associates Healthcare Provider BLS training and guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in person, via two-way radio, or by telephone.
  • Perform only within the scope of practice for a First Aid Attendant.
  • Follow all departmental policies and procedures.
  • Comply with federal and state laws and company policies.
  • Operate the P.O.S. register according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive guest and team member relations.
  • Assist guests with Mobility Program rentals (E.C.V.s, strollers, etc.).
  • Maintain the First Aid & Infant Care facility and equipment, ensuring cleanliness, proper function, and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Adhere to and promote safety policies and programs within the company.
  • Report safety issues or concerns to the Department Team Leaders, Manager, or Director.
  • Address and handle guest issues and complaints as needed.

    Work in various weather and environmental conditions, including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, and cold temperatures.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.
