Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in managing customer accounts and ensuring accurate financial processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and expertise in handling complex systems and collections while maintaining excellent customer relations.

Responsibilities:

- Generate accurate customer invoices and ensure timely distribution.

- Perform detailed aging analysis to identify outstanding balances and take appropriate action.

- Resolve internal and external account discrepancies efficiently and professionally.

- Conduct proactive customer collections to minimize overdue accounts.

- Utilize SAP for financial reporting and accounts receivable functions.

- Apply advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

- Collaborate with other departments to streamline invoicing and collections processes.

- Maintain detailed records of cash activity and account adjustments.

- Support the implementation of ERP systems for improved financial operations.

- Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and concerns related to billing.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

- Proficiency in accounting software systems such as SAP.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM tools.

- Strong understanding of billing functions and cash handling processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Effective communication skills for resolving customer and internal issues.
