Senior Tax Analyst

About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join our Global Tax team. This position will support Novocure’s worldwide tax compliance and reporting responsibilities, with a primary focus on U.S. federal and state corporate tax matters, while also supporting Canada and select international entities. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and auditors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings, tax provision reporting, and compliance activities.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly U.S. and international tax provisions under ASC 740
- Support federal, state, and international tax compliance activities, including return preparation and review processes
- Prepare tax reconciliations in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
- Assist with quarterly estimated tax payments and extension filings
- Analyze financial and apportionment data to support tax return work papers
- Support return-to-provision calculations and tax reporting requirements
- Review tax depreciation calculations and reconciliations utilizing SAP and fixed asset systems
- Research and resolve tax notices received from various tax jurisdictions
- Support federal and state tax audits and inquiries
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by preparing tax-related documentation and analysis
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and strengthen controls
- Participate in special projects and tax research initiatives supporting Novocure’s global operations
You are a collaborative and detail‑oriented tax professional who enjoys solving complex problems and working across multiple priorities. You bring a strong understanding of corporate tax compliance and tax accounting, paired with the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment. You thrive in settings where flexibility, accountability, and partnership matter. You are comfortable navigating evolving priorities, supporting cross‑functional initiatives, and contributing to a culture built on trust, communication, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
- 2–5 years of corporate tax experience
- Experience with U.S. federal and state corporate tax compliance
- Experience with ASC 740 tax provision accounting
- Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- CPA designation
- Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four firm
- Experience using One Source Tax Provision (OTP)
- Knowledge of tax depreciation regulations
- Experience with SAP and Sage Fixed Assets
- Familiarity with multinational corporate tax environments
- Experience supporting tax audits and SOX‑controlled processes
- Exposure to Canadian and international tax reporting and compliance activities
- Hybrid work model with regular collaboration in our Wayne, PA office (3 days per week)
- Work closely with a small, highly collaborative Global Tax team
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, external advisors, and auditors across multiple jurisdictions
- Contribute to global tax initiatives and reporting requirements as Novocure continues to grow internationally

This pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $103,000 - $120,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job‑related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
