- Perform data analytics to provide leadership with strategic business intelligence on financial and operational performance
- Compile claims, enrollment, revenue, and other statistical data for assigned projects
- Conduct data analysis and financial modeling with supervision and guidance
- Design reporting to support Health Plan requirements and initiatives
- Communicate summarized results to stakeholders through written narratives, graphical representations, presentations, dashboards, and verbal summaries
- Support initiatives for internal or external/government stakeholders and strategic business partners
- Provide analytical and technical support using data analysis tools and software
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative datasets, models, publications, regulations, guidelines, business rules, reporting requirements, and standards
- Apply business, statistical, and actuarial concepts including credibility, simulation, frequency, and severity
- Participate in validation and exchange of data with other departments, strategic business partners, and external parties
- Execute, validate, and maintain routine reporting assignments, including policy and procedure and Model Audit Rule documentation
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study (Required)
- Relevant experience (Required), with relevant experience potentially combined with a Master's degree and/or completed Actuarial Exams
- Skills in actuarial functions
- Computer literacy
- Insurance finance and actuarial concepts
- Statistics and actuarial modeling
- Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative datasets, models, publications, regulations, guidelines, business rules, reporting requirements, and standards
- Ability to identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets
- Ability to synthesize and communicate clear, precise, actionable information
- Ability to validate and maintain routine reporting assignments, policy and procedure documentation, and Model Audit Rule documentation
- East Coast residency in the EST time zone
Demonstrates expertise in data analytics, financial modeling, and actuarial functions to provide strategic business intelligence. Proficient in synthesizing complex datasets and communicating actionable insights to stakeholders.
