Mortgage Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans from initial consultation through closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with borrowers, real estate professionals, and referral partners.
• Educate clients on mortgage products, loan options, and the home financing process.
• Collect and review borrower documentation, analyze financial information, and submit complete loan applications.
• Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure a smooth and efficient loan experience.
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state lending regulations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license (or ability to obtain required licensing).
• Previous experience originating residential mortgage loans.
• Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and other residential loan products.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Experience with loan origination systems (LOS) and remote technology platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously.
