The County Caseworker 1 role with Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration offers you a chance to uplift people in meaningful ways. Responsibilities- Service Planning: Create individualized service plans that reflect each person's needs and goals
- Resource Coordination: Connect individuals with providers, community supports, and natural supports that fit their needs
- Monitoring Supports: Check that services are delivered properly and match what is outlined in the service plan
- Health And Safety: Promote well-being by addressing safety concerns and supporting healthy choices
- Person Centered Support: Encourage individuality, choice, and control in the lives of the people you assist
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch break.
- Telework: you will not have the option to telework in this position.

- Two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college‑level coursework including 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- A bachelor’s degree supplemented by 12 credits in the social sciences mentioned above; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 12 credits in the social sciences and one year of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or in a similar paraprofessional case management position.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree or credits.
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- Valid driver’s license, not suspended.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
