Responsibilities- Applicant Interviews
:
Interview individuals applying for public housing and review verified applications for final decisions - Income Reviews
:
Oversee annual income checks for residents and determine compliance with admission and occupancy policies - Report Preparation
:
Prepare and submit required reports for regulating agencies and the housing authority - Vacancy Tracking
:
Maintain control logs for vacancies, rent loss, inspections, unit readiness, and lease dates - Unit Coordination
:
Coordinate with property managers and maintenance staff on vacancies, refurbishing, and leasing activities - Resident Support
:
Provide counseling on rules, respond to placement inquiries, and help resolve grievances
- Three (3) years experience in supervising or performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family residential subsidized or affordable housing communities, property owned, or programs administered by a public housing authority or comparable low‑income property management agency; or
- One (1) year as an Assistant Property Manager or Assistant Section 8 Coordinator; or
- Two (2) years as a Management Aide.
- You must meet the PA residency requirement.
- Hiring preference may be given to candidates who live within Washington County. If no eligible candidates who live within Washington County apply, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
