Shippenville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated in-house rehabilitation team. Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Carry out individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
- Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Accurately document treatments and resident progress using Net Health EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Net Health is a plus.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
