Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists with inpatient and sterile compounding experience looking for a full time contract in a fast paced academic healthcare environment. Position Details
  • Full time contract/contract to hire (3-6 months)
  • Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Verify medication orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, allergies, and clinical appropriateness
  • Dispense medications safely and efficiently in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students during medication preparation
  • Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Assist with inventory management and medication safety initiatives
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on patient care and discharge planning
  • Support sterile compounding and IV room operations as needed
Requirements
  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD accepted)
  • At least 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
  • Sterile compounding and IV room experience required
  • EPIC experience required
  • Experience with EPIC Dispense Prep and EPIC Camera Verification System strongly desired
  • Strong medication safety knowledge and ability to respond appropriately to dispensing or compounding errors
