(Hiring) Medical Physicist
We are seeking a Medical Physicist to become a part of our team! You will coordinate medical and health services in hospitals, clinics or similar organizations.
Responsibilities:- Researching, developing and evaluating new analytical techniques
- Planning and ensuring safe and accurate treatment of patients
- Creating new systems to investigate medical conditions in patients
- Providing advice about radiation protection
- Training and updating healthcare, scientific and technical staff
- Managing radiotherapy quality assurance programmes
- Mathematical modelling
- Maintaining equipment
- Writing reports
- Teaching
- Laboratory management
- Consulting with patients and physicians
- Overseeing delivery of treatment to patients, such as radiation treatment for cancer
- Developing patient treatment plans and checking charts
- Performing quality assurance on medical equipment
- Mentoring/training residents and students (if in a joint academic position)
