GENERAL OVERVIEW OF KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Clinician, meeting the requirements of a Mental Health Professional, will provide intensive therapeutic services to youth and their families. Using strengths-based practices, and trauma informed and culturally competent care is preferred.
ESSENTIAL & CORE FUNCTIONSCompletecomprehensiveassessmentsof the consumers.
Using the strengths-based approachidentifyproblems and design an ITP withappropriateand reasonable goals.
Identify behavioral goals in measurable terms andselectionofappropriate interventions for inclusion in the ITP.
Review,analyze and interpret data todetermineany changes to goals andobjectivesincluded in the ITP.
Provide individual therapy
Provide family therapy
Providegrouptherapy
Assist with crisis stabilization
Submit monthly reports summarizing program status and outcomes.
Ensure outcome data is collected, reported, complied accurately andin a timely manner.
Implement evidence-based practices with fidelity.
Reviewofconsumer files assuring regulatory and funding standards are met and adhered to.
Serve as a liaison to adults across all areas in the child’s life
Facilitate discharge planning and implement discharge plans.
Meet service productivity expectations.
Complete all paperwork within specified time frames.
Maintain an understanding of agency policies and procedures.
Participate in and adhere toan Individualized Training Plan.
Attend andparticipatein supervision in accordancewithregulatory standards.
Adhere to WES’s Code of Ethics andcomplieswith
State
Mental Health Code.
Assure continuous quality assurance/program development.
Comply withWES standards for service delivery.
Maintain consumer confidentiality.
Has a graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum.

3.Is licensed in a generally recognized clinical discipline that includes mental health clinical experience.
4.Knowledge of community resources, evidence based practices, and trauma informed and culturally competent care preferred.
