As our Funeral Transportation Assistant, you'll earn a competitive wage of $15 per hour during training, and $25-$30 per hour once you're licensed. We also offer our employees excellent benefits and perks, including:

If you can meet the following requirements, we need you as our Funeral Transportation Assistant!

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma
• Ability to lift and move 150+ lbs
• Ability to follow instructions provided by phone, text, or in person
• Professional appearance
• Ability to handle human remains safely and respectfully
• Funeral Assistance License (or willingness to obtain one; company assistance available)

This position offers full-time, part-time, and 1099 contract opportunities, with employees reporting to a central location before traveling to assigned service areas throughout Massachusetts and occasionally neighboring states.

As a Funeral Transportation Assistant, you'll work closely with hospitals, nursing homes, residences, and funeral homes, performing removals and transportation services with the utmost dignity and respect. Every interaction will require professionalism, clear communication, and careful attention to detail as you safely assist in transferring and transporting deceased individuals. In this hands-on role, your compassion, physical strength, and commitment to excellence will help ensure families and funeral homes receive dependable service during important moments.
