Front of House Manager

Front of House Manager – Happy Monday Hospitality (Multiple Locations)

Happy Monday Hospitality is a growing, people‑first hospitality group in Philadelphia. Known for welcoming neighborhood spaces, thoughtful food & beverage, and a team culture that balances high standards with genuine care.

We’re looking for a Front of House Manager to join our leadership team and help support day‑to‑day operations across our properties.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Shifts
    • Act as a floor leader during service, setting the tone for hospitality, pace, and cleanliness.
    • Support opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily shift reports.
    • Be a visible, hands‑on presence on the floor – coaching, jumping in where needed, and solving problems in real time.
  • Support the Team
    • Train, coach, and support FOH staff on service standards, steps of service, and product knowledge.
    • Give clear direction and feedback while keeping morale positive.
    • Help onboard new team members and set them up for success.
  • Drive Great Guest Experiences
    • Greet guests, handle table touches, and resolve issues with warmth and professionalism.
    • Maintain a consistent standard of hospitality that matches the Happy Monday brand at all times.
    • Support private events and special programming as needed.
  • Own the Details
    • Assist with scheduling, inventory support, and operational checklists.
    • Ensure side work, cleanliness, and organization standards are met every shift.
    • Communicate clearly with the management team and ownership about wins, challenges, and needs.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3+ years of restaurant or bar supervisory / key holder / assistant manager experience (or strong lead server/bartender ready for the next step).
  • A hands‑on leader who’s not afraid to bus a table, run drinks, or host when needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, solutions‑oriented approach under pressure.
  • Genuine love for hospitality, teamwork, and creating a positive environment.
  • Comfort working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, basic reporting, and checklists (experience with Toast and/or 7shifts is a plus but not required).
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay.
  • Opportunities for growth within a small but expanding hospitality group.
  • Supportive ownership and leadership that values work/life balance and clear communication.
  • Staff discounts and access to ongoing food & beverage education.
