Position SummaryWe're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow with a great company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain JD Edwards and carrier portals to ensure accurate enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Distribute all benefits enrollment materials and assist employees with benefit-related questions
- Determine benefits eligibility in accordance with ACA guidelines and applicable plan requirements
- Perform routine audits of benefit-related data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Process weekly and monthly invoices for benefit carriers and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Manage the time off portal to ensure new hire, employee change, and year-end updates are completed accurately and timely
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of annual open enrollment
- Support year-end benefit administration tasks, including reporting, audits, and system updates
- Process new hire, rehire, and termination reports, making benefit adjustments as needed
- Support 401(k) plan administration, including data maintenance, employee inquiries, reporting, and audit support
- Participate in various annual compliance reporting, plan document review, and end-of-year audits
- Assist with the administration of FMLA, sick leave, and Short-Term disability
- Identify opportunities to improve benefit administration processes while maintaining accurate employee benefit data
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve benefit-related questions or discrepancies
- Provide guidance and support to branch leadership on benefit-related matters as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and tactfully with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and benefit information
- Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of HR Laws and best practices
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience working in an office setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
