Responsibilities HR Operations & Compliance- Process HR transactions within the HRIS, including onboarding, terminations, compensation adjustments, and employee status changes.
- Manage employee offboarding and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
- Support regulatory compliance, employee leave administration, workers' compensation, and workplace safety initiatives.
- Apply employment law and HR best practices while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HR reporting and audit requirements.
- Conduct workplace investigations involving employee complaints and other employee relations matters.
- Partner with managers on coaching, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and employee development.
- Coordinate leave of absence and ADA accommodation requests.
- Provide guidance on employment law, HR policies, and workplace best practices while minimizing organizational risk.
- Serve as a trusted resource to managers on employee relations issues and performance management.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with employees and leaders across multiple locations.
- Conduct exit interviews and support employee retention initiatives.
- Assist with employee engagement surveys and action planning.
- Foster a collaborative workplace culture where employees feel valued, supported, and heard.
- Analyze workforce metrics, turnover trends, and engagement data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop practical, data-driven recommendations that improve retention and employee engagement.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Support recruiting efforts and organizational growth across assigned business units.
- Utilize HR metrics and reporting tools to measure results and drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with operational leaders and align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, employee development, communication, and organizational change.
- Provide practical HR guidance that strengthens manager capability and supports sound business decisions.
- Support organizational effectiveness by identifying opportunities to improve team performance, role clarity, and employee engagement.
- Communicate complex HR matters clearly and professionally to leaders and employees at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Four (4)+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
- Experience supporting multiple locations or a field-based workforce.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, leave administration, workers' compensation, and workplace compliance.
- Experience utilizing an HRIS system and maintaining accurate employee data.
- Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on HR responsibilities with strategic business partnership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region as needed.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification.
- Experience supporting a multi-site healthcare, medical, or service-based organization.
- Experience utilizing HR metrics and workforce analytics to support business decisions.
- Experience coaching leaders and supporting organizational change initiatives.
