The Technology Manager manages development projects from design through implementation and utilizes API concepts, API gateway, API/Proxy Management, Drupal (a CMS platform), API strategies within the financial/banking industry, Agile methodologies with Atlassian products, and development resources to coordinate releases in a cross‑functional environment. The role includes driving estimates and dates for work items, technical design against complex requirements, Apigee and Apigee Edge implementation, and full SDLC management for API/Proxy development technologies.

Key responsibilities are leading API/Proxy development projects, developer portal enhancements, upgrade coordination, detailed technical support through research and analysis, maintaining documentation on policies and best practices, guiding development team members, providing expertise on core applications, leading 3rd level support on critical production issues, participating in release and implementation projects, promoting Agile and Dev Ops principles, taking ownership of projects, collaborating with product owners and business stakeholders to align strategy and execution, and staying current with emerging trends in API and CMS spaces.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Engineering, or a related field plus seven (7) years of post‑baccalaureate experience in technology.
• Five (5) years of post‑baccalaureate experience managing development projects from design through implementation.
• Three (3) years of post‑baccalaureate experience with each of the following: API concepts, API gateway, API/Proxy Management, Drupal (a CMS platform), API strategies in financial/banking industry, Agile methodologies with Atlassian products, development resource coordination in a cross‑functional environment, and development management and IT architecture design/implementation including driving estimates and dates and technical design against complex requirements.
• One (1) year of experience with Apigee and Apigee Edge.
