Our client is seeking an Epicor Support Specialist to serve as the frontline support for both general IT needs and Epicor ERP. This is a hybrid growth role designed for someone who wants to build deep ERP expertise while still supporting day‑to‑day technical operations in a fast‑paced business environment.
What You’ll Do IT & Helpdesk Support- Provide daily technical support for hardware, software, account access, and network issues
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets with speed and professionalism
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding, including user setup and permissions
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft and business applications
- Document issues, resolutions, and workflows within the ticketing system
- Escalate more complex issues as needed while maintaining strong end‑user communication
- Troubleshoot and resolve Epicor ERP issues across multiple modules
- Support users with BAQs, dashboards, BPMs, and system functionality
- Assist with ERP testing, upgrades, and implementation activities
- Partner with business users to understand workflows and improve system usage
- Provide Epicor training and ongoing user support
- Create and maintain documentation for processes and system procedures
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams on enhancements and issue resolution
- Serve as backup IT support as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across IT and ERP systems
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance and user experience
- Maintain a high level of customer service and responsiveness
- 1–3 years of IT support or helpdesk experience
- 2+ years of Epicor ERP experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and business applications
- Understanding of core business processes (finance, operations, inventory, etc.)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Exposure to ticketing systems and documentation practices
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and “figure things out”
- Customer‑focused approach with strong communication skills
- Experience with SQL, C#, or Crystal Reports
- Exposure to ERP reporting, dashboards, or data analysis tools
- Prior involvement in ERP upgrades, testing, or implementation projects
- Strong interest in long‑term ERP specialization and system ownership
- Clear career progression from IT support into Epicor ERP specialization
- Hands‑on exposure to both end‑user support and enterprise systems
