Looking for candidates who can work without any visa sponsorship.

Orientation will be two weeks on-site at F&B HQ before selected candidate is eligible for telework. If approved, schedule will be up to 3 days remote, 2 days on-site.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to assist network and security team with network, security, server maintenance, and support for local area networks, metropolitan area networks, and private cloud environment.

Onsite work will be located at the agency's Harrisburg Headquarters: 1601 Elmerton Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17710.

The successful applicant must be capable of meeting or exceeding challenging deadlines while performing daily duties that will include:

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
• Ensure current patch level maintained on servers.
• Assist in investigation and mitigation of security incidents.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical (Cisco) and distributed virtual switches (VMware).
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers (Cradlepoint).
• Monitor the team's open backlog of support issues.
• Work towards departmental and project deadlines.
• Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.

40 hour week – 7:30 16:00 or 08:00 16:30.

Available after the 2nd week at the discretion of the Agency. 2 days per week required on site if approved. Note telework is available to PA residents only.
