The IT Audit Specialist 1 position in the Department of the Auditor General's Bureau of Information Technology Audits leads IT audit staff in evaluating computer controls and systems that protect the Commonwealth's financial information. The role involves team guidance on audit reviews, technical evaluation of financial reports and audits, and quality oversight to ensure compliance with required standards. This is a remote, home-headquartered position based in Harrisburg, PA with limited on-site travel required.
KeyQualifications
- Bachelor's or Graduate's degree in Information Technology or Accounting/Auditing from an accredited college or university
- Possession and maintenance of CISA or CPA certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supervision/performing IT Audit functions and managing data-driven projects
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Preferred: CFE, CGAP, CGFM, or CIA certification
