Whitehall Resources is working with a global organisation to identify a leader for their Lead to Cash technology agenda — a role of genuine significance, positioned at the intersection of Commercial, Sales, and Order Fulfillment.

Reporting to the Enterprise Function Enablement IT Director, you will act as the principal technology partner to Lead to Cash stakeholders across the business, translating priorities into roadmaps that are delivered, not merely proposed.

This role calls for someone equally comfortable operating strategically and engaging with detail — a leader capable of developing people, owning outcomes, and materially improving how the Lead to Cash value chain functions for the business.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for Commercial, Sales, and Order Fulfillment leaders on technology matters, ensuring initiatives remain closely aligned with genuine business needs. This includes developing and maintaining roadmaps with real substance — clearly defined scope, value, and success measures.

You will build relationships with leaders across global and regional teams, ensuring clarity of ownership throughout.

On delivery, you will lead Lead to Cash initiatives from initial demand through to go-live and value realisation. You will balance the tension between global standardisation and regional flexibility, collaborate closely with peer IT leaders on shared dependencies, and maintain the discipline required for long-term sustainability.

You will also hold accountability for the health of the ERP and digital ecosystem underpinning these processes — including reliability, integrations, automation, and data quality — working alongside architecture and platform teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards for security, compliance, and performance.

A governance dimension is also central to the role. You will contribute to the evolution of the operating model within this domain, lead structured backlog and prioritisation processes, and provide leadership with clear visibility into investment decisions and realised benefits. You will establish and scale delivery teams — agile, product-based, or hybrid — according to what the backlog demands.

Finally, you will lead and develop people directly, coaching team members and cultivating a culture defined by continuous learning, the reuse of best practices, and data-driven decision‑making.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, or Business Technology, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• A demonstrated track record of improving Commercial, Sales, or Order‑to‑Cash processes through technology.
• Proven experience partnering with Director, VP, and C-level executives to shape strategy, define trade‑offs, and deliver measurable results.
• 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise‑scale solutions, ideally within SAP-centric environments, with S/4
  
  HANA strongly preferred.
• Experience operating within complex, global organisations with distributed teams.
• Strong executive presence and the communication skills required to influence beyond direct authority.

• CRM platforms, e‑invoicing, EDI, order management, or commercial analytics.
• Familiarity with modern delivery models, including product teams, agile, or pod‑based delivery.
• Exposure to automation, analytics, AI, or GenAI applied to commercial processes.
• Experience with in regulated industries such as agriculture, chemicals, or life sciences.
