Council Operations Team Leader oversees daily maintenance of parks, facilities, roads, and waste services, leading a team and coordinating work to keep community spaces safe, functional, and well maintained.

Responsibilities- Lead and support a small team in daily operations
- Coordinate and deliver maintenance of parks, roads, and facilities
- Oversee waste collection and landfill activities
- Monitor and maintain equipment and vehicles
Ensure work is completed safely and to council standards
Will bring a hands‑on approach to leadership, supporting and empowering your team to deliver high‑quality services while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency and community outcomes. You will take pride in delivering results, supporting your team, and making a meaningful impact in the community.
You Will Bring- Proven ability to lead or supervise a small team
- Experience in maintenance, civil works, or similar environments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Commitment to safety and maintaining high work standards
- Criminal History Check (recent, within 3 months)
- A current Working with Children’s Card (Ochre Card)
- A current unrestricted Drivers Licence
