Description

The Senior Project Manager in Pennsylvania will lead complex, high-value projects from concept through closeout in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate combines proven project management expertise with a deep understanding of manufacturing; wood industry experience is desired. The Project Manager position will lead multiple concurrent projects while mentoring and working alongside a Junior Project Manager and partnering closely with an Assistant Project Manager who handles field execution, site walks, and General Contractor coordination.

This role demands a results-driven professional who thrives on proactive communication, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring every project delivers on time, on budget, and at the highest level of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation within ERP (INNERGY) and ensure data and date accuracy throughout the project.
  • Own the entire project lifecycle from Letter of Intent (LOI) through closeout and warranty follow-up, ensuring profitable and timely outcomes.
  • Mentor and assist the Junior Project Manager, fostering growth, refining processes, and readiness for next level project management.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and ASIs to maintain transparency, documentation, and fiscal accuracy.
  • Maintain or exceed project schedules through disciplined planning, proactive issue resolution, and ownership mentality.
  • Lead/Attend weekly project reviews to align Engineering, Production, and Installation teams with project milestones.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across the project management function to enhance efficiency, profitability, and quality.
  • Coordinate and audit submittal drawings from Engineering through General Contractor approval and installation/as-builts.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Project Managers to oversee field dimensions, site walks, and General Contractor communications — translating field information into actionable updates.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, wood industry preferred.
  • Background in commercial millwork, architectural casework, or custom cabinetry.
  • Balanced ability to lead in the office and problem-solve in the field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor or develop team members.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Establish clear expectations and foster a high-performance culture grounded in accountability and collaboration.
  • Experience coordinating directly with General Contractors, architects, and owners.
  • Familiarity with design-build or commercial construction environments.
  • Model and promote the company’s legacy of integrity, craftsmanship, and client trust.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Production leadership to ensure the PM function supports company-wide goals.
  • Positive, proactive, and disciplined work ethic with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with ERP/project management software (INNERGY).
  • Proven experience managing Request for Information (RFIs), Architect’s Supplemental Instructions (ASIs), submittals, and change order processes.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to both the Assistant and Junior Project Managers.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and communicate architectural and shop drawings.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership from kickoff through completion.
