THE POSITION
Become the Facility Operations Supervisor for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and make an impact every day! This role with our Bureau of Store Infrastructure Development team performs supervisory and skilled work overseeing multiple skilled trades for the maintenance of Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) stores. Your leadership will ensure facilities are safe and well maintained for customers and staff across the Philadelphia area.

This position leads maintenance, repair, and renovations activities for FW&GS stores. Responsibilities involve overseeing, planning, and participating in carpentry, painting, electrical, roofing, masonry, plastering/drywall, and plumbing/heating work. As a Facility Operations Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Project Planning:
Evaluate maintenance needs; determine materials, equipment, and personnel required; submit recommendations for review; prepare and review reports, expense accounts, and memos - Work Oversight:
Assign, schedule, supervise, and participate in the work of maintenance personnel, laborers, and skilled tradespersons who maintain, renovate, and repair agency buildings; prepare and interpret sketches and plans - Staff Management:
Perform supervisory duties, establish and measure work standards and expectations, help select new staff, provide training, and recognize achievements - Site Inspections:
Visit stores, proposed worksites, and other PLCB locations to assess repair needs, inspect work in progress, verify that projects are completed in a quality manor that achieves the desired results, and order corrections when necessary - Inventory Control:
Maintain automotive shop inventory, keep accurate records, authorize standard field purchases, and requisition materials and supplies when needed - Emergency Response:
Respond to urgent maintenance issues, arrange for temporary and permanent repairs and security needed for store personnel to work safely and continue providing exceptional customer service

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may require travel.

- This position is considered essential and you will be required to work or continue to work when an agency emergency has been declared
- Two years of skilled trades work experience in commercial, industrial, multi-unit residential facilities, or utility plant operations; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must possess an active motor vehicle license.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
