Position Summary

The Maintenance Systems Leader – IWS / TPM champions equipment reliability, stability, and performance for assigned production line(s) at Just Born’s Bethlehem, PA facility.

As part of the Line Trio, this role partners with the Business Unit Leader and the Manufacturing & Systems Engineer to deliver results across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, and Nature (SQCDMN). The focus is on enabling a strong integrated work stream through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), disciplined daily management, and data‑driven breakdown elimination.

This is a hands‑on, floor‑focused role that leads maintenance systems, standards, and capability to ensure equipment runs safely, reliably, and efficiently.

How You’ll Impact Results
  • Equipment reliability & breakdown elimination
  • Champion equipment reliability and performance for assigned production line(s)
  • Lead breakdown elimination (BDE) efforts through structured root‑cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Track and analyze maintenance indicators and in‑process measures to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and execute improvement plans based on maintenance performance data
  • Deliver results across SQCDMN through individual and team efforts
  • Integrated work stream / daily management systems
  • Lead the review of prior maintenance work, breakdowns, and planned activities during the Daily Meeting
  • Adjust maintenance plans based on scheduled work, work completion, and disruptions
  • Support and coordinate planned stops, incorporating work orders and maintenance tasks into the execution plan
  • Monitor the health of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Daily Management Systems (DMS) and recommend corrective actions
  • Support and integrate TPM pillars, including Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Clean, Inspect & Lubricate (CIL), Centerlining (CL), Defect Handling (DH), and maintenance cost and parts‑usage optimization
  • Standards, documentation & technical governance
  • Ensure maintenance technical documentation is revised, updated, and sustained as needed
  • Confirm equipment drawings and schematics are complete, accurate, accessible, and usable
  • Ensure all equipment design changes, corrective maintenance, and work modifications follow Change Management (CM) procedures
  • Provide structured feedback to design teams related to new equipment, modifications, or line‑speed changes
  • Training, capability & knowledge transfer
  • Create One Point Lessons (OPLs) and support training and qualification of line teams in maintenance activities
  • Build maintenance capability through training, coaching, and reinforcement of standards
  • Support knowledge transfer related to troubleshooting, equipment care, and TPM routines
  • Safety, compliance & presence
  • Implement and follow all safety procedures, plant policies, and the Just Born code of ethics
  • Consistently model and reinforce safe behaviors and standard work
  • Maintain a strong floor presence to support execution, problem solving, and collaboration
  • Adapt schedule as needed to support manufacturing operations, including nights, weekends, or overtime when required
Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success
  • Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a maintenance, asset care, reliability, or maintenance planning role with demonstrated technical and leadership capability
  • Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supporting equipment reliability, maintenance systems, or TPM‑based operations
