2nd Shift Process Operator FULL TIME

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the Process Operator position, joining our Nottingham, PA team!

Schedule & Benefits
  • SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday
  • HOURS: 3:30pm-3:30am
    • Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

Key Responsibilities

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Operate potato chip fryers, dough mixers, and snack food processing equipment.
  • Responsible for change over and setup of the mixing, cooking, and processing equipment.
  • Cleaning machine parts after changeovers, discarding trash/waste, and monitoring tank levels as well as cleaning seasoning trays, floors, and ovens in the processing area.
  • Records daily machine and process information such as batch counts, start & stop times, oil meter readings, waste recordings, and pounds of flour.
  • Changes and maintains Urschel slicer heads to maintain quality and consistent slices.
  • Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
  • Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
  • Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
  • Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
  • Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:

  • Must complete a background and pre-employment drug screen, as well as a pre-placement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
Job Requirements
  • A good mechanical skill-related background is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift at least 21 pounds.
  • Must work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
  • Must work in a noisy and fast‑paced environment with wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and moving parts.
  • Must have good balance on slippery surfaces.
