Filler Operator-3rd Shift

Job Title:

Filler Operator Position Summary

Assist in operating and maintaining filler lines, closing machinery, and maintaining sanitation on production lines.

• Operate filler lines and maintain product within specifications.
• Operate closing machine, feed lids, and perform simple line maintenance.
• Clean line following sanitation & safety procedures.
• Follow all GMPs associated with the position.
• Perform other assigned jobs as requested by supervisor.
• Record documentation accurately, neatly, and timely.
• Operate efficiency systems on all can filler lines.
• Check can seams and codes regularly.
• Account for downtime.
• Know and understand all Critical Control Points.
• Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communication, and helping co‑workers.

• Alert, aware, multi‑tasking ability.
• Attention to cleaning equipment.
• Accurate record keeping.
• Operate basic scale efficiently and accurately.
• Basic math skills.

• Walking: frequent to continuous.
• Lifting: frequent‑to‑continuous lifting of 18½ lbs lid sleeves (average 303 sleeves/shift); ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Carrying: frequent.
• Climbing ladders: minimal.
• Operating equipment (Filler, Closing Machine, Slicer): continuous.
• Manual dexterity, hand movements, twisting and turning frequent to continuous, bending occasional to frequent, reaching frequent.

Full‑time – 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm‑7:00 am, 8‑hour shift, may require extended hours/overtime and weekend availability during season.

Base salary up to $19.56 per hour.

Work Location:

Single location – Northumberland, PA 17857. Must be able to commute or relocate prior to starting.
