Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a Production Supervisor (Off Shift) to lead a team of associates to drive operational efficiency, product quality, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Bethlehem, PA

Work Model:
This is a fully onsite role, five days per week, supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Standard schedule will be 8:30PM-6:00AM, Sunday-Thursday.

• Lead and motivate a team to achieve excellence in manufacturing operations, ensuring precision and passion
• Your leadership will ensure production goals are met safely and effectively, setting the standard for success
• Maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality in the manufacturing environment
• Supervise and support a diverse team, fostering professional growth and teamwork
• Cultivate a proactive safety culture and implement strategies to prevent accidents
• Drive initiatives to meet and exceed objectives in safety, quality, efficiency, cost management, and waste reduction
• Take accountability for the development of associates, identifying training and advancement opportunities
• Lead problem-solving efforts, using root cause analysis to implement actionable solutions
• Promote a strong food safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards
• Embody and promote Just Born leadership behaviors, providing coaching, feedback, and support for self-development

• Manage budget responsibilities to maintain financial integrity
• Additional duties & responsibilities as required. May require flexing to other shifts to cover vacations/absences

• Education & Certification:
  Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management focus preferred
• A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated abilities may be substituted
• Experience, Skills, & Knowledge:
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience required
• Experience leading within a unionized environment is highly preferred
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with proven abilities to carry out a root cause analysis
• Experience with an IWS (Integrated Work System), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Six Sigma Lean system, or other
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
• Excellent time management to meet production deadlines and ensure workflow efficiency
• Skilled in conflict resolution and fostering a positive, harmonious work environment
• Active listener, valuing team input and feedback
• Adaptable to changing conditions, making quick decisions and capable of adjusting strategies as needed
• Confident leader, providing clear direction and motivating teams to perform at their best
• Critical thinker with strong reasoning skills for evaluating solutions and taking action
