Raw Materials Supervisor

We are looking for a Raw Materials Supervisor to work our first shift for a client on the outskirts of Reading, PA. In this role, you will:

• Supervise Raw Materials Processing manufacturing operations during assigned shifts as authorized by the Production Manager of Raw Materials Processing.
• Issue work assignments to Lead Operators as appropriate.
• Ensure that safety, product quality, personnel performance, operating parameters, and equipment maintenance meet established department goals and standards.
• Coordinate resources and manpower to maximize productivity and priorities and objectives.
• Assist Lead Operators with planning work and use of resources (people, tools, equipment, etc.) to maximize efficiency and the quality of the work performed.
• Review equipment operations (shears, presses, blenders, material handling equipment, etc.) to ensure reliability. Take corrective actions to be sure equipment is operating properly and that personnel are correctly operating the equipment.
• Assist and oversee all projects related to capacity expansion, cost reductions, safety, productivity improvements, and quality improvements.
• Work closely with other Foremen, Process Engineers, Melt Shop Managers, Safety and Training Specialist and Q.A. Managers to ensure all goals are met.

Must Have:

• Bachelors Degree
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong math skills and a solid understanding of statistical data reporting.
