Birdsboro, PA Pay Rate: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour

Gear Up for the Job:
High school diploma or equivalent required Technical or trade school training is a plus Prior experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, automotive, or related hands-on environment preferred Direct tool and die experience not required for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability Comfortable using hand tools and basic shop equipment Attention to detail and ability to work with precision components Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Basic communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team

Your Daily Grind (The Good Kind) Disassemble and reassemble molds, dies, and custom tooling components for maintenance and repair. Perform routine and preventative maintenance to extend tool life and ensure consistent performance. Repair minor damage such as chips, wear, and surface imperfections. Buff, polish, and blend surfaces to remove tool marks and restore finish quality. Inspect components for wear, damage, or defects and report findings to supervisors.

Use various hand tools and basic shop equipment to complete maintenance tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tooling components and work areas. Follow all safety procedures and company standards during maintenance operations. Assist senior machinists or toolmakers with more complex repairs as needed. Track and document maintenance activities as required.
