Technician Manufacturing 1 - Electronics

Assemble high quality complex products in an expedient manner. A day in the life includes assembling components used to make sub-assemblies, installing panels, card racks and sub-assemblies, performing detailed wiring cabinet layout and wiring based on diagrams, schematics and wire lists, operating power and hand tools including solder irons, crimpers, drivers, wrenches, pliers, cutters, wire wrap guns, etc. Fabricate and modifies products: printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, wire wrap boards, panels and enclosures, cabinet sub-assemblies, sheet metal assemblies.

Assure assemblies are complete and made to the drawing specifications. Review, update and accurately complete all required documentation. Other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and two plus years of assembly experience and ability to follow written assembly procedures, assembly drawings, wire lists and wiring diagrams. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 35 lbs. Requires good hand and eye coordination, finger dexterity, mobility Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time Must be able to distinguish and identify different components/part colors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
