Mixer / Scaler – Food Production

Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM) or 3rd Shift (9:00 PM – 5:30 AM)

Job Type: Temporary to Hire

We are looking for dependable team members to join our food production team as a Mixer / Scaler. In this role, you will measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production instructions. You will also help package ingredients, support mixing operations, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

No specific education is required. Manufacturing or food production experience is helpful but not required.

• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes and production instructions.
• Divide large quantities of ingredients into smaller batches.
• Repackage bulk ingredients into smaller containers.
• Read and follow written formulas and work instructions.
• Add the correct ingredients and quantities to mixers and production batches.
• Assist with mixing operations and learn to operate mixing equipment.
• Lift and move materials weighing 50–75 lbs throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with a team to meet production goals.
• Record hours worked using the company's timekeeping system.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or food processing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive lifting.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull 50–75 lbs.
• Stand and move throughout the entire shift.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Follow strict sanitation and safety guidelines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
