Job Description
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
• Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program.
• Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program.
• Follows all procedures & work instructions.
• Works to maintain a clean & organized working environment (5s).
• Completes visual inspection on products through the shift.
• Trains, coaches, and support the mold techs to ensure SMED is being utilized.
• Schedule and maintain production and visual management boards for the molding department.
• Address molding barriers promptly.
• Works directly with other departments within the plant.
• Encourages continuous improvement of culture.
• Identify and address non-conforming products.
• Responsible for clear and consistent communication between shifts
• Assisting in modification of existing procedures
• Creation of new standardized work procedures
• Encourages and promotes a positive work environment.
• Performs any other tasks required to ensure the Company goals are met as directed.
Competencies
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the injection molding field
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and follow-up on tasks with timely completion.
• Communicates effectively.
• Works well within a Team environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing; use of hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
This position requires frequent communication with other employees. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
